Great museum with a good variety of displays. Really enjoyed the Roman display and Hadrians Wall section and the Border Reivers history. The cafe is also very nice.....Great day out.
I was looking at the lecture theatre. It is impressive and has lots of potential for me. The caf was also well worth a try. Nice and helpful staff throughout.
Not the biggest museum but a very good one. Lots of interesting exhibits and stories, some excellent Roman pieces. The section on the Border Rievers tells a fascinating yet all but forgotten story Very close to Carlisle Castle . Well worth a visit
Not bad value at all really for a museum with some great modern art. Found it very interesting and making you want to know more. Staff were polite and museum is kept very clean! Well worth a visit.
An extensive gallery, acknowledging in it's collection and exhibitions it's local roots in the north of England. Friendly very helpful staff and a very reasonable and modest entrance fee. Will definitely go again!
