Some good staff but a few think they are gods gift to the washing up bowl. The manager Andy has little man syndrome. Drink and customers are brilliant.
Great place to go even if you just want a coffee. Value for money food. Always warm and welcoming
The more traditional of the two Wetherspoons pubs in Carlisle. Can get busy, but generally copes well. Good beer garden at the back for summer afternoons.
We were staying the night in Carlisle and wandered into this pub for dinner. What a great choice we made! Reasonably priced food and drinks at fair price. It's no wonder the street was pretty well deserted except for this place. We were losing faith in British pubs while travelling the UK so thanks to all at the Woodrow for a really nice night.
Got a table easy enough. Ordered a meal and drink deal. Fast service and hot food. Good portion size. Nice wine. Cheep and cheerful
