Nice friendly staff with a good atmosphere
Great night club, could do with cleaning the smashed glass up though. I was there black eyed Friday and seen little or no glass collecting, on the dance floor especially it was coated in smashed glass and some people were falling and cutting themselves!
Bar people don't have a clue. Ordered a drink and got given two completely different drinks then was overcharged. Overrated and poor service.
Walkabout is walkabout. No great shakes. It is however the main place to go on a Saturday night on the cheaper end of town. Staff aren't friendly at all. Haven't had food there since a few years ago and not bothered about having any either. Also it might sound pedantic but last time I was there in the afternoon for a drink I asked what type of gins they had a female worker said parma violet gin. Really wanted to try it so ordered that and a pint for my other half. She then took the money first before making the drinks only to tell me that there was no parma violet gin left. To be honest she should have made the drinks first then asked for payment. Just like most places. Really annoyed me to be honest.
Younger generation place. Very cheap beer and alcohol on the weekdays. Staff is friendly and nice. Good hangout with music and lights. Also a nice place to watch sports as well.
