I have given my review on L&I Eaton ARC Ltd lots of unprofessional legal experts in my legal team appointmented by my insurance company. Regardless for the first time since, we see great results from the body shop repairs at L&I Eaton in Carlisle & Borders of Scotland, on repair to damaged S Type. .... non recorded. In the end their craftsmanship must be something - to be very proud in and highly skilled' unlike solicitors who who reside on such cases. From Keith to Perth and Aberdeen to Glasgow and the Borders of Scotland & England good customer service all round.
I have not completed my involvement with L & I however, so far I have had 2 phone calls not returned. I had to fight to get a courtesy car which I was told would be forthcoming as soon as my car arrived on site with them, not the case, I was then told that I wouldn't get a courtesy car until the valuers had assessed if my car was to be wrote off or not although I have a courtesy car on my insurence. My insurence phoned L&I and miraculously a car appeared I asked why I was told that I could have a car as soon as mine was on their site? I am still waiting for an answer.My husband and I went down to collect the courtesy car and we were waiting for a good 20 mins while someone tried to find the keys during which time we observed a few members of staff (not all) conducting their business rather unprofessionally while members of the public were in reception. One young women seemed to be unable to get up from her chair to obtain a sharpie pen from a nearby office so made a phone call and someone brought her one. The car that was given to me was a nissan note (very nice few minor scratches but clean)) seemed ok to drive home but the next day on my way to work the car had a severe shake at 60 miles per hour and above so I phoned the company straight away I told him I would check tyre pressure There was less than 24 psi in all tyres. It is a little better with the correct pressure in but there is still a problem probably tracking or wheel balancing but the car obviously was not checked properly before the keys were given over and at no time was I offered a replacement.Unfortunately yesturday while on my way to pick up my grandchildren I was rear ended by a lady and was pretty shaken up and am experiencing a bit of pain in my back and neck I was told to return the car to them and that I would not be getting another car in its place and did I not have someone to take me home after? I did not and they did not offer . I have learnt now that obviously it is the lady who hit me insurance company that will supply the car but at no time did the staff from L&I explain this they just matter of fact said the car was to be dropped off and they would not supply a replacement vehicle. I told them that they could pick the car up from my house on saturday or sunday morning or any time after 7pm weekdays as, I would not be or any other member of my family be taking time off work when they have a drop off and collect service which they keep very QT. and that the staff work over the weekend unlike the office staff. I am still waiting to here about my car, If it is to be repaired or written off and my accident was 9 days ago. I will try to let my insurence company deal with them from now on as their customer relations are very poor. Lets see how long it takes for them to come and collect their vehicle and how long it takes for them to finish assessing my car ? watch this space. I have to say my insurence company have been amazing so far big shout out for AXA .
