So much history of the local regiment situated inside the castle. A must for militaria buffs.
Although quite small in area it is full of very interesting and beautiful items, particularly the silverware. A warm welcome from staff. Upstairs was an exhibition relating to remembrance which was extremely informative. Well worth a visit. Would highly recommend.
Well laid out military museum with interesting local artefacts. Set inside Castle grounds which makes it confusing regarding parking. There is a also a small cafe.
Its good to watch our country grow throw the centuries, and the castle is great even in the pouring rain, def visit ...
