What an excellent meal and what lovely friendly service. This place looks drab on the outside but don't let the first appearance put you off. I had the mushroom starter followed by the salmon and finished with the cheesecake of the day which was chocolate and also a liqueur coffee. My wife is coeliac so she finished with the raspberry sorbet and ice cream cup and of course the coffee, we had a bottle of Argentinian Malbec and the bill was an extremely reasonable 73.00 I could not have been happier

Arrived early for a train to Euston. This lovely restaurant is close to the station and never fails to impress. Great selection of main courses and their desserts... well, I couldn't finish mine despite trying to! Delicious and sizable!
An excellent, small, personal and authentic Italian restaurant right in the centre of Carlisle and near enough to the station to walk in 2 minutes. The food is really good quality, at a very reasonable price and served with a cheery smile; the staff are very attentive and ensure that youre enjoying the meal as you go along in a genuine way. My only slight complaint would be that we were in a constant cold draught from the ever opening front door, which made the meal a little uncomfortable. This could have been avoided by using the outer door as well. The place is very popular on a Friday evening and I would recommend booking.
The most authentic Italian restaurant I've experienced in a long time.We came to lunch here after a tiring 6hrs trip from London.We were welcomed into a warm ambience.Our food was served in no time. We couldn't fault anything, from fresh original ingredients to the impeccable attentive and polite service. Pizza was yummy, crispy and light. Coffee was superb. Prices are very decent would happily pay more!Lastly, one can judge how a restaurant is run by the standards of it's washroom facilities - here they were fresh clean, not to mention the decent soap and toilet paper! If the owners are this thoughtful in which is usually a neglected area, then it is easy to trust that you are in good honest hands.A hidden gem in the Carlisle area and highly recommend!Thank you to Roberto and his staff!
