A little pricey, but overall really tasty meal . Would rather my meal was on a plate than a wooden board which was split at the side. That aside friendly staff ,good customer service. Would go back again.
Excellent! Top peeve, nice cocktails, top scran and downstairs has nice rooms if upstairs is too busy. Good music played there by the best dance crew in Carlisle, the dead horse gang. Get amongst it like eh!!!!
Nice venue, friendly staff but the food is a little disappointing: a tiny number of extremely thick cut chips meaning they are still raw in the centre with a couple of small halloumi sticks for over 10. We were brought a bowl of chips when we questioned it but think it would be better to not give a stingy impression in the first place.
Very enjoyable pub. Great atmosphere. Will try food next time as it looks good.
The food was delicious and the drinks good. The reason I have given it 4 stars was because the service let it down. When the main meal plates were removed we weren't asked if we wanted the desert menu or anything else. No eye contact was made with either of the waitresses despite them serving other tables and we were about to leave when eventually the waiter did ask if we wanted any more drinks. SAVED!
