Lovely little site, plenty of room, ideal for exploring the area. EHU, toilets, showers etc, very clean and tidy.
Barry and Steph have made me very welcome for a 2 night stay. Its a great place from which to explore this often overlooked area just north of the English Lake District and reaching into the Scottish Borders and toward Teasdale. Just 3 miles from J45 of the M6, it also makes a very inexpensive stopover point for those travelling toward or returning from The Highlands. The site is well kept, toilets and showers are very clean. Longtown is a 20 minute walk away and has adequate shops, fuel and food outlets. The city of Carlisle is only 6 miles away and has a large retail park right at J44 of M6. Its very easy to get there. Top marks are deserved and it is (sensible) biker friendly.

Lovely flat field couple of hardstandings spotless shower blocks and toilets, lovely and very helpful owner's easy to find and access one tiny thing there is some road noise but we will stay again recommended
