Great place for youngsters to explore. Lovely hut with log burner for when its cold. Ideal place for schools and groups to camp or sleep in the dorms.
Awesome scout camp facility in a great bit of countryside. Big kitchen, big main room, nice loos, large camping field. Does what it says on the tin!
My son has just camped with cubs for 2 nights and had a great time.
Currently having a bit of work done to upgrade the site. But the normal facilities were still available and despite the Cumbrian weather a great site.
