Three of us stayed here on the last night of our Hadrian's wall walk from Wallsend. What a lovely place to finish our trip. The cabin was warm, cosy and comfortable. I had spoken to Paul the week before to book the accommodation, and on our arrival a quick phone call to him and he was there in minutes to meet us. What a lovely guy! Not only did he show us where everything was on the site, he booked us a table for dinner at the local pub, 'The Drovers Rest' (well recommended for the beer and food), he also supplied a cab number for our trip back from Bowness On Solway to Carlisle for our journey home. Nothing was too much for him. So a big thanks to Paul and all involved on the site. Totally recommended. Steve Parker.
Wonderful welcome and beautiful lodge. So cosy and clean and fantastic facilities.
Fabulous family run site. Friendly and well kept. There is a main chalet where showers and tea/coffee and snacks are available. Warm and dry with a big table and books to read. For tents or camper Vans.
We pitched a tent for a bargain price and got access to excellent facilities. The best campsite we found along Hadrian's Wall path. Paul who works there was very friendly and helpful. I will be coming here again and would definitely recommend it.
Good little spot with an excellent pub round the corner serving a wide selection of beers and good food. Service hut is excellent with a couple of warm seating rooms, good showers and a bath. Owners welcoming and pleasant happy to help and will make breakfast in the morning. The pods looked well appointed (I camped) and is within a very short walk of Hadrians wall, perfect for your last or first night.
