Great Central location but no parking and street parking around the hotel time limited until early evening. Rooms OK, but you do get what you pay for which is a basic no frills hotel. Basic restaurant available but since the hotel is on the edge of the city centre there are plenty of eating options nearby. Not a great hotel but if you want somewhere to sleep in Central Carlisle which isn't expensive then it's fine.
It is very clean, I'd say quite posh. I am staying here over the Xmas period and I'm going to stay, because it's so good value for money, over the new year festive as well. Oh and I have travelled up from Anglesey, we'll done Travel Lodge.
No parking. Mattress and pillows extremely uncomfortable. Staff were tremendous, but couldn't make up for the horrible poorly furnished room, or the cramped bathroom. Had to cut a two day stay to one day, because of this. very disappointed in hotel, and lack of response to the problems . In my last three stays at different Travelodges, two have been terrible. I will not stay with Travelodge again. The only reason I have given two stars is because the staff were so nice.
Nice enough hotel, family room was nice and spacious the king size bed was comfy however the two singles were not. Was described as a slab of concrete! But for a inexpensive hotel stay right in the city centre it's good.
Great location. Breakfast below average as many items not available. Not enough staff I think for breakfast service. Food was okay what was there but otherwise not a patch on Premier Inn standards. Room very good clean and tidy. Avoid breakfast and you will be fine. Good value though.
