Lovely host, fabulous decor. Very welcoming, good breakfast. Would recommend. Two minute walk into town centre.
Absolutely the best place to stay. Beds comfy. Rooms very well appointed and beautifully decorated. Spacious accommodation. Breakfasts so tasty and plenty of food to sustain you for the day. The owner is attentive and friendly. Already booked for another two stays.
A lovely place, only a short overnight on the to the ferry but will be back. Nothing was too much trouble.
This is a very high standard B@B and our room was lovely and had all the historical features with a beautiful fireplace, lovely high ceilings,etc. The bedding was luxury and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was also to a high standard. Well worth the money.
I stayed here en route to a walking holiday in St Bees, having just flown in from Canada. Carlisle is a two hour train ride from the airport. The B and B is a ten minute walk from the train station. It is a lovely place to stay. Quaint, cosy and clean. Close to many restaurants and shops and Carlisle Castle. Breakfast was fantastic and our host very nice. The price was good and I am thrilled with my choice. Five stars!
