Great location and facilities, and great to explore Carlisle, the area, and as a stop off point.
Lovely little hostel. Stayed in the private room which was very comfortable. The showers were lovely and hot. Breakfast was included but was just a simple cereal and toast situation, which was totally fine. Close and convenient to both the Hadrians wall trail and the city centre. Owners very friendly and helpful.

I booked this place for my first night while walking the wall. I booked a double room with en suite all to myself so I could enjoy some luxury before roughing it the next couple of days. My room was clean and everything was in working order. The owner was friendly too. Great location just off the main road opposite Carlisle castle and near the train station, also only a short walk into the town centre. The trains are a little noisy but it was not a problem at all.
