Cannot fault the rooms as far as accommodation goes and very friendly on arrival I paid for the accommodation upfront for 3 work colleagues only to find out later I have been charged an extra 40 without letting me know or a reason why. We travelled 18 miles to stay here as on previous occasions it had been very good but since the change of ownership our company will not be using this accommodation again there are many to choose from equally as good in the surrounding area.

This b&b is close (5 minutes slow walk) to the centre of Carlisle, both bus station and railway station are nearby. The b&b has stairs up to bedrooms, there is not a lift as it is a Victorian house, but the landlady has been known on occasion to carry bags upstairs for the infirm who have packed too much into their cases and are unable to lift the bags themselves!! The superior ensuite room has a king size bed and a single bed, 3 chairs and several mirrors. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast downstairs in the breakfast room was either full English, kippers or cereal of which there was a good selection. The Landlady is very friendly and interesting to talk to.Carlisle has some uneven paving stones so watch your footing while walking around.
I would like to thank Adele for a great weekend at her guest house,5star.May I thank you for helping with getting me a great florist to surprise my wife with a beautiful bouquet of roses and putting them in our room, we will definitely be coming back to visit you again . Loved staying here. Beautiful building. Adele the owner is dedicated to making your stay as perfect as possible. Location is great. Food at breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend
